Gangneung Solhyang Arboretum

Solhyang Arboretum is a public arboretum in Gujeong-myeon, Gangneung, with no admission or parking fee. Paths through pine-scented groves, flower beds, and stands of cypress and birch run through the grounds. A free electric bus runs between the parking lot and the arboretum every 30 minutes, and the tropical plant house has spaces for reading or for five to six people to sit. The grounds include uphill sections, which make walking strenuous on hot days.
