Deungmyeong Beach

Deungmyeong Beach sits past the railway tracks next to Jeongdongjin in Gangneung, where a pine grove meets the sea. The dense pine forest behind the beach provides shade, and the clear East Sea can be seen together with the sunrise. A large parking lot, clean restrooms, and a drinking water station are available, and the walk along the beach to Jeongdongjin Station takes a full 30 minutes. The neighborhood is small and has no convenience store.
