Dano Park sits along the Namdaecheon stream in Noam-dong, Gangneung. During the Gangneung Danoje festival, the grounds hold a nanjang market, performance stages, temporary food stalls, ssireum competitions, and gilnori parades. In spring, cherry blossoms frame views of Namsan and the Gangneung city area, and the park also contains a fountain park. During the Danoje period, crowds make it difficult to walk through.
