Sungin Market sits near Miasageori in Seoul and is a traditional market with Jeil Bunsik, which sells tteokbokki, gimbap and jjolmyeon, and a sundae gukbap restaurant. At Jeil Bunsik, rice-cake tteokbokki and gimbap are served as soon as they are ordered, and fried snacks, odeng broth and sweet potato matang are sold as well. Stores deeper inside the market have withdrawn due to redevelopment, leaving the shops closer to the road. Several storefronts stand empty, so the market is no longer as crowded as it once was.
