Fukushima-temmangu

Fukushima Tenmangu is a five-minute walk from Fukushima Station in Osaka and close to Shin-Fukushima Station. The shrine enshrines Sugawara no Michizane and is known as an upper Tenjin shrine dedicated to the deity of learning. After praying, visitors draw an omikuji near the hall, receive the paper at the office, and return it to a shelf beside the main hall. The grounds are not large, as the shrine sits in the city center.
