Kokko is a yakitori izakaya on the second floor in Tenjin, Fukuoka, a two-minute walk from Minami-Tenjin. It serves yakitori such as chicken skin, chicken thigh, and tsukune, along with seasonal oyster and squid skewers, grilled to bring out the texture and flavor of the ingredients. Reservations can be made by phone or through Tabelog, and without a reservation you sit at the bar counter where the skewers are grilled. As an izakaya it allows smoking, so there is a smell of cigarettes.
