Il sol levante is an Italian restaurant in Fukuoka that serves Neapolitan wood-fired pizza along with pasta and gelato. The owner trained in Naples and bakes pizzas such as buffalo cheese margherita and quattro formaggi on thin, soft dough. The pasta of the day is chosen as one type when ordering, and pizzas can be ordered half and half. House-made lemonade and gelato are also available alongside the wood-fired pizza.
