Cafe Meeple is a board game cafe in Tenjin, Fukuoka, serving handmade smoothies made from fruit and soy milk. Staff pick and explain games in English and Japanese based on the atmosphere you ask for. An international board game meetup runs Fridays from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. The entrance is hard to spot and reached by a narrow staircase, so it is difficult to find at first.
