Hozenji Yokocho is a narrow 80-meter-long, 3-meter-wide alley next to Dotonbori, with restaurants and a small temple. The alley has stone paving, lanterns, and a moss-covered Hozenji Buddha statue. It is an old Osaka-style alley known as the setting of the novel Fufu Senko. It is crowded with people until late at night.
