Uotoyo

Uotoyo is a takeout counter in Kuromon Market in Osaka that specialises in freshwater eel over rice. The eel is grilled by the owner and served with soy-seasoned rice, and it carries no fishy taste. Staff hand out numbered tickets and tell customers when to return, and on one day the shop sold out at 9:10 a.m. There is no seating, so the food is takeout only.
