Teppan-kun is a local izakaya in the Dotonbori alleys serving takoyaki and teppan dishes. The takoyaki is thin and crisp outside and soft inside, available with mentaiko mayo or standard sauce, alongside yakisoba and draft beer. It stays open until 2 a.m., and takeout is cash only for takoyaki. Smoking is allowed indoors, so cigarette smoke spreads quickly in the small space.
