Tanuki Chaya

Robatayaki Tanukichaya is a robatayaki restaurant in Dotonbori that grills seafood such as scallops, squid, and shrimp along with skewers. At the open kitchen in front of the counter seats, ordered ingredients are grilled and served right away, and grilled scallops, grilled squid, and grilled rice balls are the representative menu items. Reservations can be made through Google or a Japanese site, and food comes out about five minutes after ordering and is handed over with a large spatula. The restaurant uses a lot of basic soy sauce, so the food is generally on the salty side.
