Shabutei Shinsaibashi

Shabutei Shinsaibashi is a Japanese shabu-shabu restaurant in Shinsaibashi that serves pork and beef shabu-shabu. Diners cook meat and vegetables in a clear broth, dip them in sesame sauce or ponzu sauce, and finish with udon noodles. Each person uses a separate single-serving pot, so groups cook and eat individually, and meat and vegetables can be added. Udon noodles left in the pot too long lose their chewiness.
