Okonomiyaki Izakaya Gen

Okonomiyaki Izakaya Hyeon is a small specialty restaurant on the first floor in the back streets of Dotonbori that serves okonomiyaki and yakisoba. Its main dishes are mix okonomiyaki and pork yakisoba, with the okonomiyaki crisp outside and moist inside and the yakisoba chewy noodles soaked in sauce. In the bright izakaya-style interior, sides such as gyoza and butter corn are also available. Around 7 to 8 p.m. a wait forms, and because the owner cooks alone, food takes time to come out.
