Songgongdan is a Busan Metropolitan City monument inside Dongnae Market, honoring those who died during the Imjin War. It is a memorial altar for Song Sang-hyeon and others who died defending Dongnae Fortress, and it is a place for quiet viewing. Kim Seok-il, the Dongnae magistrate, built it in 1742 after moving it from the viewing altar at Nongjusan. It is an ordinary, small space within the market, so its scale is modest.
