Hongneung Forest (Arboretum)

Hongneung Experimental Forest is an urban forest in Seoul run by the National Institute of Forest Science, a 15-minute walk from Cheongnyangni Station Exit 2. Walking paths include a coniferous forest trail, a broadleaf forest, and a wildflower trail, with labels identifying trees and plants. It opens free of charge on Saturdays and Sundays, and forest commentary programs run Tuesday through Friday at 10:30 a.m., 1:30 p.m., and 3:30 p.m. There is no separate parking lot, and seating and rest areas are limited.
