Jeungsan Waeseong (Busanpo Waeseong)

Jeungsan Waeseong is a fortress built by Japanese forces during the Imjin War, located in Jeungsan Park in Jwacheon-dong and also known as Busanpo Waeseong. From the 130-meter Jeungsan hill, it overlooks Busanpo and the site of the Battle of Busanpo. Visitors ride two inclined elevators behind the public parking lot and follow the information boards to see parts of the fortress walls up close. Many sections of the walls have been hardened with concrete.
