Chunghontab (Monument to the fallen heroes)

Chunghontap is a memorial tower in Busan Central Park honoring soldiers and police from Busan killed in the Korean War and other conflicts. It was moved to its current site from Yongdusan Park in 1983, and Central Park was created in 1982. The tower can be visited together with Democracy Park, and the site looks out over downtown Busan and the Haeundae shore. It stands on a hill, and city buses run to the entrance.
