Peace Culture Bunker

Pyeonghwa Munhwa Jinji is a cultural space in Dobong-dong, Dobong-gu, Seoul, converted from a citizen apartment building that once served as an anti-tank barricade into art workshops and exhibition halls. It sits next to Dobongsan Station on Line 1 and Line 7, and visitors can see photographs of the Berlin Wall and the former citizen apartments before walking up to the observation deck. The site lies between Seoul Changpo Won and Darakwon Cheyuk Gongwon, with views of Jungnangcheon and Dobongsan, Bukhansan and Buramsan, and mats are available for use. A place built to prepare for war has been turned into a place wishing for peace.
