The Osaka Exchange is a financial market exchange directly connected to Kitahama Station, near the Lion Statue intersection in Kitahama. Its white cylindrical former market hall, completed in 1935, was preserved in 2004 alongside a high-rise building, and a statue of Tomoatsu Godai stands at the entrance. Visitors who ask at the first-floor lobby receive a pass without a reservation, and the fifth-floor archive covers Tomoatsu Godai and Osaka's economic history. Inside, a market board and a large marble atrium show traces of the old exchange together with the current financial site.
