Jo Maestro

Jo Maestro is a cafe inside Osaka Castle Park that grills okonomiyaki and yakisoba on a hot plate. Its signature dishes, Dotonbori-yaki and yakisoba, are cooked on the griddle, with mayonnaise sprayed in front of customers in a "mayo beam." Counter seats look directly onto the cooking, and the interior is decorated with Western music LP jackets and CDs from the 1960s and 1970s. Prices are high for a tourist area, and orders have taken more than 30 minutes.
