Din Tai Fung Nihonbashi is a restaurant in the basement of Takashimaya in Nihonbashi, serving Taiwanese-style dim sum and noodle dishes. It offers xiaolongbao, noodles, fried rice, and mango shaved ice, and the xiaolongbao are eaten by breaking the skin and drinking the soup inside. On weekends the restaurant often fills up and waits are common, with entry coming after a wait of around 20 minutes. Reservations are available only for course menus.
