Sanran Kokuryū is a small ramen shop in Susukino, Sapporo, serving tonkotsu ramen and tsukemen topped with a generous amount of back fat. Its signature dish, Kokuryū, pairs a rich soy sauce-based tonkotsu broth with thick, chewy noodles, and the noodles can be changed to thin ones. Orders are paid in cash up front, and with around eight seats, ramen usually comes out in five to ten minutes. The back fat and oil make the broth taste salty.
