Torimasu serves yakitori and shinkoyaki, a half-chicken grill, about a two-minute walk from Susukino Station in Sapporo. The nanban tsukune contains green chili peppers and is strongly spicy, and skewers are ordered by cut and grilled. It opened in 1967, the 42nd year of Showa, and on weekday evenings the reserved seats can fill up, so it is better to book ahead. Portions per plate are fairly large, making them a heavy amount for one person to eat alone.
