Sumibi to Sake Mokusei is a yakitori izakaya near Nijo Market in Sapporo. It serves chicken thigh, pork collar, and heart skewers along with tsukune and grilled rice balls, which go with Sapporo Classic beer and grapefruit sour. The small shop has four to five counter seats and three to four tables, and the menu is in Japanese only. Without a reservation, the seats fill up and you can be turned away.
