Sapporo Cheese House Mero is a cheese-focused Italian restaurant on the L-shaped Tanukikoji street in Sapporo, set behind the ramen shop Yamaokaya. It serves several kinds of Hokkaido cheese, with cheese fondue and raclette eaten by dipping baguette, steamed vegetables, and mushrooms into melted cheese. Courses include 120 minutes of unlimited drinks, and same-day reservations have been made through Tabelog, so booking ahead is safer. The room is fairly loud, so it does not suit a quiet meal.
