Mendokoro Akariya

Mendokoro Akariya is a counter ramen shop near Nakajima Park in south Susukino, Sapporo, serving miso, tomato, and donshio ramen. The tomato ramen comes with lemon and parmesan cheese, and the remaining broth is finished with cheese rice eaten like risotto. The shop is open until 10 a.m., has only seven counter seats, and accepts cash only, so waits of 15 to 30 minutes are possible even in the morning. The miso ramen is on the salty side.
