Maruzushi is a sushi restaurant in Susukino, Sapporo, where the chef runs the counter alone and serves an omakase course by reservation. The sushi features horse mackerel, filefish, eel and flounder, and each piece is served with an explanation of how the main ingredient's flavor is brought out. The room seats 10, and food service for the 7 o'clock reservation begins as soon as those guests arrive. Explanations in Korean and English are basic, so extended conversation with the chef is difficult.
