Azuma is a restaurant in a basement building near Sapporo Station that serves udon and butadon. It offers niku udon topped with Hokkaido samgyeopsal (pork belly) and butatamadon, and udon and butadon can be ordered as a set. Before 11 a.m. only two or three noodle dishes are available, and during the lunch peak a wait forms at the counter seats. Payment is cash only, and indoor smoking is allowed, so the space smells of cigarettes.
