THE GALETTE is a galette, parfait, coffee and drinks spot in Sapporo, close to Tanukikoji and about a 10-minute walk from Odori Koen subway station. The galettes are made from buckwheat flour, water and salt only, baked on a French machine, and served as meal galettes, sweet galettes, and bar snacks with alcohol. The lunch set adds appetizers such as soup and salad plus a drink and dessert, and takeout galettes are available. Cafe jazz plays loudly, making conversation hard to hear.
