Mon cher

Moncher Daimaru Sapporo is a French patisserie in the basement of Daimaru Sapporo, selling roll cakes, cup parfaits, and whole cakes. Small parfaits top a base roll cake with strawberry and fresh cream, and seasonal designs such as Sanrio Tanabata and Setsubun are also offered. Whole cakes can be ordered up to size 5 by default, while size 6 and above require a reservation one week in advance, and the shop packs plenty of ice packs in a cooler bag. The fresh cream and sponge are somewhat heavy, and the cream tends to be rich.
