Anison Bar X is in Susukino, Sapporo, and its staff wear cosplay. It is a maid cafe where customers sing anime songs, and when you sing alone on the stage in the center of the room, staff respond with tambourines. You can sing together with a staff member for an extra charge, and the staff talk in Japanese and discuss anime with customers. Songs from Vocaloid and live-action works are also available, and on weekends the wait to sing a second song runs to tens of minutes, or as long as ten songs.
