Umino Shokudo

Umino Shokudo is on the basement first floor of the Parco main building in Tenjin, Fukuoka, and serves kaisendon, grilled fish, and Japanese home-style set meals. You pick a main set meal, then combine a kaisendon type with one to three side dishes, and can add sides such as mentaiko egg roll and chicken nanban. A line forms before opening, and at lunch the wait runs about 10 to 20 minutes. In the kaisendon, the steam from the rice warms the hoe.
