Tenjin Yatai Street

Tenjin Yatai Street is a row of food stalls spread from in front of Fukuoka's Daimaru department store to the Minatenjin department store side, selling oden and yaki ramen. The menu includes oden soup, motsunabe, mentaiko fried rice, gyoza, and beef tongue. The stalls on the main road across from Daimaru department store draw a wait even on weekday evenings, while stalls in the alleys further down have let people walk straight in. Prices run high.
