Mentai Chudoku

Mentai Chudoku is a yatai stall at the front of the Akasaka yatai alley in Fukuoka, selling mentaiko dishes. Nearly every item on the menu includes mentaiko, among them mentaiko spring rolls. Orders are placed from a Japanese-language menu, and a line forms even around 6 p.m. Smoking is allowed indoors, and waits grow long once a queue builds.
