Makoto is a Japanese restaurant in Fukuoka that serves only one lunch item: a grilled mackerel set meal. The mackerel is grilled to order, crisp outside and moist inside, and comes with rice and miso soup. Because there is a single menu item, side dishes and mackerel arrive without ordering once you sit down, and rice and soup are refilled. The lunch wait runs from 30 minutes to over an hour.
