Komaya

Komaya is a Japanese confectionery in Daimyo, Fukuoka that sells dango and strawberry mochi. The mitarashi dango pairs a salty-sweet sauce with chewy rice cakes, and the strawberry mochi wraps red bean paste and strawberry in a thin glutinous rice skin. In the morning, warm and soft dango are available, along with seasonal rice cakes such as sakuramochi and ichigo daifuku. The rice cakes are chewier than convenience store dango.
