Imaya Hamburger | Nishi Park

Imaya Hamburger Nishi Koen is a hamburger stand in the east parking lot of Nishi Park in Fukuoka, selling hamburger and sausage burgers. Its signature burger contains sauteed cabbage and minced meat in a crisp bun. It began as a mobile food cart passed down from a friend in the late 1970s, and orders are cooked one at a time, so waits run around two hours. On weekend mornings a line forms before the 11 a.m. opening, and after a two-and-a-half-hour wait the food sells out.
