Ikeda Senkyo is a local home-style restaurant in Fukuoka that serves sushi, kaisendon, and sashimi set meals, a 10- to 15-minute walk from Tenjin. The kaisendon comes with several kinds of seafood over rice, and sushi and mackerel hoe set meals are served as well. Rice, miso soup, and side dishes are self-serve and unlimited at the self bar, and seating includes counter seats and floor tables where shoes are removed. A foreign-language menu is available, and reserving in advance allows entry without waiting.
