Henri Charpentier is a French-style cake and baked-goods shop on the second basement floor of Daimaru Fukuoka Tenjin in Tenjin, Chuo Ward, Fukuoka. Financiers are its signature baked good, along with winter-only chocolate and seasonal marron flavors. Strawberry shortcake is sold by the slice and as whole cakes, and a 15cm birthday cake can be ordered in advance. Cakes and baked goods sit in a higher price range.
