Tenjin Umaka Yokocho

Tenjin Umakayokocho is an indoor izakaya in Tenjin, Fukuoka, styled after the Showa era and made up of several food stalls. Dishes such as basokiya yakisoba, yakisoba, tantanmen, mapo tofu, and karaage are ordered from the individual stalls. After taking a table, orders are placed at the center stall, and alcohol is discounted during happy hour before 6 p.m. With multiple stalls, it is easy to confuse which one to order from.
