Contrast

Contrast is a Japanese-style cocktail bar located behind a hidden door on the second floor of a yakiniku restaurant in Haruyoshi, Fukuoka. It serves matcha old fashioneds, sencha yuzu tonics, and fruit and tea cocktails with wagashi on the side. Around midnight the crowd thins out, and telling the master your preferences gets you recommendations from a range of whiskies. The hidden-door entrance is hard to find on a first visit.
