Komagura Cafe sits in a back alley off Nakamichidori in Kichijoji, Tokyo, a 4-5 minute walk from the north exit of Kichijoji Station. It serves coffee, seasonal fruit parfaits and tarts, and curry, with one drink required per person and a chai meringue topping the strawberry and chai parfait. There is no elevator, so guests climb stairs to the third floor, and on weekends two to four groups wait 10-30 minutes before entering. The parfaits are on the pricier side.
