Seongjigok Waterside Park sits inside Choeup Children's Grand Park in Busan and is an urban park for walking and hiking around a lake. Trails through dense cypress and cedar forest connect a wooden deck section and a route around the dam, and visitors can feed the carp. Construction began in November 1995 and was completed in January 1997, and the park has pavilions, pergolas and benches. The forest is thick and blocks sunlight, so the area stays humid and has many mosquitoes; bring insect repellent.
