Metdol Sundubu

Metdol Sundubu is a neighborhood restaurant near Hwamyeong Station and Hwamyeong Lotte Mart that serves sundubu jjigae, sundubu jjamppong, and cheonggukjang. Its signature style is soft tofu ground on a millstone, served in a large bowl to mix with rice, side dishes, and gim. At lunchtime there is a line, and each table is set with a large rice bowl and gim. The expanded dining area has a lot of echo, so it is loud during meals.
