Matsarangchae

Matsarangchae is a small restaurant in the alley by Hymart near Gijang Market in Busan, serving baekban and ssambap set meals. The ssambap set comes with braised mackerel, duruchigi, doenjang jjigae and several side dishes, while the soup in the baekban set changes daily. The portions of rice are large, the side dishes are varied, and the lettuce wraps are generous. The braised mackerel can taste strongly fishy or have overcooked radish depending on how it is prepared.
