Yeongyang Jokbal Sundaeguk

Yeongyang Jokbal Sundaeguk is an old restaurant inside Hwagok Bondong Market that serves jokbal and sundaeguk, a five-minute walk from Hwagok Station. The jokbal is chewy down to the lean meat, the portions are generous, and it is eaten with noodles. Both dine-in and takeout are available, and orders are placed directly inside the market. Recently the meat has become fattier and the portions have shrunk.
