The Family

The Family is a Thai restaurant in Bangkok, on the edge of a small canal a 10-minute walk from Khao San. Its main dishes are noodle plates such as phat thai, phat si-io and fried noodles. English-speaking staff take orders on a tablet. At 8 pm the wait runs about 20 minutes, and food arrives an hour after that; outdoor seats leave diners exposed to mosquitoes.
