Rungfa Pad Thai

Rungfa Phat Thai is an old local phat thai shop next to Thipsamai Phat Thai in Phra Nakhon, Bangkok. The basic phat thai carries wok aroma and a mild shrimp oil scent, and the sen chan noodles are stir-fried to a chewy texture. Old newspapers that covered the shop remain among its decorations, and customers still come in at 10 p.m. There is no air conditioning, so on hot days you eat at the tables outside on the street.
