McDonald's is a fast-food branch near the Democracy Monument in Bangkok, selling Big Mac sets and con pies. You can dip a warm con pie in soft-serve ice cream or have coffee and cake at McCafe. Orders are placed in English at a kiosk and delivered to the table, and the store has a large seating area, air conditioning and clean restrooms. Students, backpackers and delivery orders crowd the store, so it tends to be noisy.
